A New Connecting Rod Is Available {1218}

The connecting rod in the 3618 engine has been updated. The new 211-0068 Connecting Rod Gp replaces all former connecting rods that were used on this engine. The new design has a modified pin bushing. The bore of the pin bushing has also been modified. The bore is now shot peened and the bushing is now machined after installation into the pin end bore. These modifications result in tighter tolerances. This increases the reliability of the connecting rod. The new 211-0068 Connecting Rod Gp is the only connecting rod that should be installed in the 3618 engine.
