Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the hydraulic rotator.

2. Remove the quick coupler lock.

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before you begin the removal procedure, the exterior of the components should be thoroughly cleaned to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

1. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to quick coupler (1).Place quick coupler (1) in vertical position on a suitable cribbing as shown in illustration 1. Refer to the Table 2 for the weight information of quick coupler (1).

2. Disconnect harness assembly (2) and led lighting (5). Remove bolt (3), lock washer (4), and led lighting (5).

   Note: Mark position of swivel (9) for installation purposes before removal.

3. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to quick coupler (1). Lift quick coupler (1) and position on Tooling (B) as shown in illustration 3.

4. Remove two screws (6) affixing electric swivel (5) and remove electric swivel (5).

5. Remove six bolts (7) and lock washers (8) from swivel (9).

6. Remove swivel (9).

7. Remove 10 O-ring seals (10) and dowel pins (11).

Installation Procedure

1. Install swivel (9) in the reverse order of the removal procedure.

   1. Install swivel (9) properly on dowel pins (11) and position swivel (9) regarding to quick coupler (1) as shown in the illustration 5.

   2. Lubricating 10 O-ring seals (10) with oil.

   3. Tighten six bolts (7) to a torque of 60 N·m (44 lb ft).
