Storage
If the power module will not immediately be put into service, precautions must be taken in order to prevent condensation inside the switchgear cabinets.
The following precautions should be taken:
- Close the doors for the power module and close the louvers.
- Close the access door for the load cable or cover the access door for the load cable.
- Energize the space heaters for the switchgear.
Note: Energizing the space heaters for the switchgear will prevent condensation only within the compartments of the switchgear. Other heaters are provided for the generator.
