Description of Change: New caps are now used on the counterweight of certain 314E CR Excavators.

(1) Counterweight threaded holes | |
The counterweights were produced with threaded holes. When the threaded holes are not filled, rust can develop. The plastic caps inserted into the thread holes prevent the counterweight from rusting. Clean the affected area and plug with a new cap if the holes have rusted.
Refer to Table 1 for the adaptability and effectivity of the new caps.
