Combined Function - Electric Control: Parameter Setting

Usage:

311F LRR JFT
These procedures cover specific work tool parameter settings that are commonly used in detail.

Reference: Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Work Tool Parameter - Program" for additional programming instructions and parameter descriptions.

Supply Pump for the Work Tool

Combiner for two pump flow

Set the pump to supply oil flow to the work tool using the following parameter settings for the work tool.

DISABLE - Drive Pump

Combined Flow - Both Pumps

  1. Select "DISABLE".

    1. "ATT Valve #1" is now available for setting.

  2. Select "ENABLE".

    1. Parameters are now available for setting.

Pump Flow to the Work Tool

One Pump Flow using Drive Pump

  1. Set the appropriate flow for the work tool to be installed by using the following parameter settings.

    "Atch #X Flow Setting"(Parameter #13 and #29) - XXX [L/min]

    Table 1
Maximum Flow Setting for One Pump Flow
    311F LRR  90 ± 5 L/min (23.8 ± 1.3 US gpm)

  2. Work tool open and close speed can be decreased by lowering the following parameter value.

    1. Spool shift pressure adjustment to extend the attachment control valve.

      "Atch #X Max Ext Press"(Parameter #15 and #31) - XXXX [kPa]

    2. Spool shift pressure adjustment to retract the attachment control valve for two-way flow only.

      "Atch #X Max Ret Press"(Parameter #16 and #32) - XXXX [kPa]

Note: For reference, this parameter is set within the range of 800 kPa to 2000 kPa.

Two Pump Flow

  1. Set the appropriate flow for the work tool to be installed by using the following parameter settings.

    "Atch #1 Flow Setting"(Parameter #13 and #29) - XXX [L/min]

    Table 2
Maximum Flow Setting for Two Pump Flow
    311F LRR  105± 6 L/min (27.8 ± 1.6 US gpm)

  2. Work tool open and close speed can be decreased by lowering the following parameter value.

    1. Spool shift pressure adjustment to extend the attachment control valves.

      "Atch #X Max Ext Press"(Parameter #15 and #31) - XXXX [kPa]

    2. Spool shift pressure adjustment to retract the attachment control valves for two-way flow only.

      "Atch #X Max Ret Press"(Parameter #16 and #32) - XXXX [kPa]

Note: For reference, this parameter is set within the range of 800 kPa to 2000 kPa. A parameter setting for spool shift pressure of 0 kPa is not made for flow from two pumps.

Pump Flow to the Work Tool (Multiple Operation)

One Pump Flow

  1. Set the additional flow to the work tool when multiple operations are to take place by using the following parameter settings.

    "Atch #X Mult-Ope Add Flow Setting"(Parameter #14 and 30) - XXX [L/min]

Note: Pump flow to the work tool may exceed the upper limit flow set (parameter #13) when setting additional flow for multiple operation.

  2. Setting the following parameters will enhance the work tool operation along with other implement movement.

    1. Spool shift pressure adjustment to extend the attachment control valve.

      "Atch #1 M-Ope Max Ext Press"(Parameter #17 and #31) - XXXX [kPa]

    2. Spool shift pressure adjustment to retract the attachment control valve for two-way flow only.

"Atch #1 M-Ope Max Ret Press" (Parameter #18 and #32) - XXXX [kPa]

Note: For reference, this parameter is set within the range of 800 kPa to 2000 kPa.

Two Pump Flow

  1. Set the additional flow to the work tool when multiple operations are to take place by using the following parameter settings.

    "Atch #X Mult-Ope Add Flow Setting"(Parameter #14 and 30) - XXX [L/min]

Note: Pump flow to the work tool may exceed the upper limit (parameter #13) flow set when setting additional flow for multiple operation.

A parameter setting for spool shift pressure of 0 kPa is not made for flow from two pumps.

Variable Relief Pressure

The relief pressure for the work tool can be set using the following parameters.

"Variable Rel Valve #1 Press"(Parameter #10) - XXXX [kPa]

"Variable Rel Valve #2 Press"(Parameter #11) - XXXX [kPa]
