Muffler and Converter - Remove and Install
Start By:
- Remove flexible exhaust pipe.
- Remove shield assembly (1).

- Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for the opposite side.
- The weight of muffler/converter (4) is approximately
45 kg (99 lb) . Remove both muffler/converters (4).Show/hide table
Illustration 3 g03556065 - Attach a suitable lifting device to exhaust support (5). The weight of exhaust support (5) is
55 kg (121 lb) . - Remove bolts (6) and exhaust support (5).

- Install muffler/converters (4) in the reverse order of removal.
- Tighten straps (2) to a torque of
16.5 N·m (146 lb in) .
- Tighten straps (2) to a torque of
