Gear and Bearing - Remove and Install

Start By:
- Remove the housing and the gear and bearing. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Housing (Upper) - Remove and Install".
- Remove bolts (1) .

- Use Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to remove gear and bearing (2). The weight of gear and bearing (2) for CZC184-Up and, CZD281-Up is approximately 64 kg (140 lb).

- Use Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to install gear and bearing (2). The weight of gear and bearing (2) for CZC184-Up and, CZD281-Up is approximately 64 kg (140 lb).

- Apply Tooling (B), or the equivalent to bolts (1) and install bolts (1). Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 270 ± 40 N·m (199 ± 30 lb ft).
End By: Install the housing and the gear and bearing. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Housing, Gear and Bearing - Remove and Install".
