Rocker Shaft and Pushrod - Install
Installation Procedure

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Install the valve bridge assemblies. Apply clean engine oil to the top surface of the valve bridge assemblies.
- Install pushrods (3) in the original location in the engine.

- Position rocker arm assembly (2) in the original location on the engine. Install bolts (1). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 100 ± 20 N·m (75 ± 15 lb ft).
- Adjust the engine valve lash. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Engine Valve Lash - Inspect/Adjust".
End By: Install the valve mechanism cover. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Valve Mechanism Cover - Remove and Install".
