Crankshaft Rear Seal - Install
Installation Procedure

- Clean the seal surface of the crankshaft. Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
Note: Leave the shipping sleeve in place in order to install the crankshaft rear seal. The crankshaft rear seal must be installed dry.
- Position crankshaft rear seal (2) and the O-ring seal on the crankshaft. Push crankshaft rear seal (2) in place. This will dislodge the shipping sleeve.

- Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of bolts (1). Install bolts (1). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 12 ± 3 N·m (106 ± 27 lb in).
End By: Install the flywheel. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Flywheel - Remove and Install".
