SUBJECT: MAIN CONTROL VALVE PLUGS LEAKS ON M300C-SERIES WHEELED EXCAVATORS

PROBLEM:

The 206-7656 (4 locations) and 234-9355(1 location) plugs, installed on the main hydraulic control valve of the models listed above, can leak hydraulic oil. These plugs are installed on the 191-2762 valve on M318C models, and the 197-9997 valve on M322C models. The location of these plugs is identified in Fig. 1 below.

SOLUTION:

To resolve these plug leaks, remove each plug, install a new 6V4367 o-ring to the plug, and re-install the plug. Torque each plug to 300Nm.
