Problem:
Excessive vibration is being reported during certain operations of the SR18 and SR21 Snowblowers. The vibration is occurring only when the snowblower is lifted off the ground or when the snowblower is operating in very light snow conditions. During such conditions, the excessive vibration of the unit can cause excessive vibration of the host machine as well.
Solution:
The root cause of the vibration has been determined to result from unbalanced augers. A permanent solution for the unbalanced augers will be available in the near future. Until then, conditions that can result in excessive vibration of the unit and the host machine should be avoided.
