SUBJECT: IMPLEMENT PUMP POWER SHIFT CALIBRATION

PROBLEM:

Improper implement pump power shift calibration may create erratic hydraulic performance. The correct procedure must be performed in order to ensure that the implement pump power shift is properly calibrated.

SOLUTION:

Use the procedure that follows in order to calibrate the implement pump power shift.

NOTE: Make sure that the pilot pressure is correctly adjusted, the engine is calibrated correctly, and the hydraulic oil temperature is 50+/-10?C (122+/-18?F).

Procedure For Implement Pump Power Shift Calibration

  1. Turn engine speed dial to setting "10".
  2. Press the "Menu" key (2).
  3. Select "Service Options" (4).
  4. Select "Perform Calibration" (2).
  5. Use the arrow keys and scroll through the list of available calibrations until the "Implement Pump PS" option is displayed on the message center as shown in Table 1.
