Component Code 7540

SUBJECT: REROUTE OIL SUPPLY FOR CUSTOM AUTOLUBE PUMP

PROBLEM:

On certain 5130B (4CS) Excavators that are equipped with the custom automatic lubrication system, the air conditioning pump supplies the oil for the auto lube pump. This arrangement may result in low auto lube pressure and possibly seized pins. The affected automatic lubrication groups are 1Q-6879, 1Q-6967, 1Q-6969, and 1Q-6970.

SOLUTION:

Reuse existing parts to reroute the supply oil from the pilot pump instead of the a/c pump.
