When reporting the repair, use "PI32210" as the Part Number and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI32210" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

PRIORITY - PRODUCT IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR RESETTING THE C6.6 ENGINE POWER RATING MODELS INVOLVED - CERTAIN 320DGC AND 323D EXCAVATORS Dear Cat Product Owner: The engine power rating needs to be reset on the products listed below. The engine power can be affected when the machine is working at high dial by the existing engine power rating setting. You will not be charged for the service performed. Contact your local Cat dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service. If you are no longer the owner of this product(s), please contact your local Cat dealer so that our records can be updated. Please refer the dealer to their Service Letter dated 08Aug2013 when scheduling this service. Note: Ensure that the machine is in a smooth flat location before beginning this Rework Procedure. 1. Connect ET through Communication Adapter. 2. Turn the Key to the "ON" position. 3. Select Engine ECM. Then proceed to "Selected Engine Rating". Refer to Image1.1.1. Check the current rating based on the following information: Rating 3: 118kW for 323D Rating 2: 111kW for 320D Rating 1: 93kW for 320D GC 4. Select the right power rating when incorrect setting found. |

5. Select the power rating based on the machine models: a) For 320D GC Excavator (Prefix: JZA), change the rating from "2" to "1", the power is set at 93kW. Refer to the Image1.2.1 for the correct setting. |

b) For 323D Excavators (Prefix: NZF), change the rating from "2" to "3", the power is set at 118kW. Refer to Image1.3.1 for the correct setting. |
