Engine Oil Pump - Remove
Removal Procedure
Start By:
- Remove the engine oil pan. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Pan - Remove and Install" .

- Bend back the locking tab and remove bolt (1) .

The engine oil pump idler gear can fall off of the pump when the pump is removed or installed. Injury may result. To help prevent injury, always hold the idler gear on the pump when the pump is removed or installed. |

- Bend back two locking tabs (3) on the left hand side of the engine. Remove four bolts (2) and (4) and remove the engine oil pump and suction bell as a unit.
