- Loosen the bolts (2) .
- In order to remove the welds from the teeth, use a hand grinder that is equipped with a cutting wheel.
- Remove the nuts, the bolts and the tooth.
- Use the hand grinder to smooth the surface of the jaw.
- Install a new tooth, or install a reconditioned tooth. Install new bolts and nuts. Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound to the bolts. Tighten the nuts and bolts to a torque of 305 N·m (225 lb ft).
- Place a welded joint that is 10 mm (0.38 inch) wide at the junction of the tooth and the jaw (1). The weld will secure the tooth to the jaw.
