"Date Updated" Displayed In Parts Manuals On The Service Information System (SIS) {7567}
Usage:
Caterpillar Parts Manuals
A "Date Updated" entry now appears after the Publication Date when viewing a Parts Manual in SIS. This date will appear in the center of every screen of the Parts Manual in SIS.
NOTE: The "Date Updated" entry does not necessarily inform the user that the information being viewed has changed. The "Date Updated" entry informs the user that some portions of the Parts Manual have been updated. This process is similar to the method used to update microfiche. The future goal for SIS is to track the actual "Date Updated" at the group part number level.
