Improved Coolant Flow Switches Available {7425}

Usage:

All Machines Using The 3E-2030, 3E-6428, 3E-6430, 9X-3040, And 9X-7088 Coolant Flow Switch Groups.

Description of Change: The listed coolant flow switches have been improved with a new higher strength casting which should reduce the possibility of a leaky coolant flow switch.

Adaptable To: The improved 3E-2030, 3E-6428, 3E-6430, 9X-3040, and 9X-7088 Coolant Flow Switch Groups are effective with date code P48 with P representing year 1994 and 48 representing the 48th week of the year. The improved switches are adaptable to all earlier applications.

NOTE: There may be situations where coolant, when mixed with local water, can produce a corrosive solution that attacks the aluminum housing of the switch. This can cause coolant flow switch leaks. In these situations, it is recommended to use a premixed coolant designed to prevent this problem. See the chart for appropriate part numbers for the premixed coolant.
