Mechanical Unit Fuel Injector Groups Spill Shield Changed {1290}
Usage:
Caterpillar Machines Powered By 3114, 3116, And 3126 Engines Equipped With Mechanical Unit Injectors
Formerly, the spill shield (see the illustration) was pressed onto the barrel of the mechanical unit fuel injector group and would not move. As a result of a manufacturing change, the spill shield may now move or be loose. This is acceptable and makes NO difference in the operation of the mechanical unit fuel injector group.
