Improved 2-Pin Deutsch® DT Connector Now Used {7553}

Description of Change: The 2-Pin Deutsch DT Connector has been improved to prevent moisture from entering the mated connectors. A powder or talc used in the manufacturing process allowed moisture entry at the mating seal. Effective February 1, 1997, the powder or talc has been removed from the manufacturing process at the supplier. A month and year code is imprinted on the face of the male and female connector to note the improvement. See the following illustration and charts.

Adaptable To: The improvement is adaptable to all Caterpillar Machines using the 2-Pin DT Deutsch Connector.
