Alarm/Shutdown System For Cogeneration Or Landfill Applications{7400}

Usage:

G3512 (4KC) G3516 (3RC) Engines

G3512 and G3516 Engines in cogeneration or landfill applications operate with higher than normal jacket water temperatures. The engines can be equipped with an alarm/shutdown system that will either sound an alarm or begin to shut the engine down when a critical temperature or pressure is sensed. Cogeneration engines can be equipped with the alarm/shutdown system while landfill engines come standard with the alarm/shutdown system.

Chart A identifies the critical temperatures and pressures for cogeneration applications. The chart also identifies the part numbers of the alarm and shutdown switches. Illustrations 1 and 2 show the locations of those alarm and shutdown switches.

Chart B identifies the critical temperatures and pressures for landfill applications. The chart also identifies the part numbers of the alarm and shutdown switches. Illustrations 3 and 4 show the locations of those alarm and shutdown switches.
