Description of Change: A new inlet/exhaust valve with a chrome stem is used. The new valve increases valve train efficiency and reduces the occurrence of valve sticking.
Adaptable To: The new 104-7184 Inlet/Exhaust Valve is a direct replacement for the former 4P-2852 Inlet/Exhaust Valve. The new inlet/exhaust valve is in effect as shown in Chart A. The new inlet/exhaust valve can be installed in the engines identified in Chart B. The new inlet/exhaust valve has a face angle of 191/4degrees. The former inlet/exhaust valve has a face angle of 193/4degrees. Although the face angle has changed, the two valves are completely interchangeable upon retrofit.
