Training Available Via Videotapes For Service And Marketing Systems{0314}

Usage:

To help meet customers' training needs, Marketing Systems Division has created videotapes which provide basic training on the following:

* Service Claims Reporting System
* Service Claims System
* SIMS (Service Information Management System)
* Product Information System (PIS)
* FIND (both SIRS and TEXT)
* E-Mail
* Dealer Sales and Inventory Maintenance System
* Machine Marketing Information System (MMIS)
* Parts Marketing Information System (PMIS)
* Engine Marketing Information System (EMIS)

While the tapes are geared toward the dealer audience, benefits can also be realized by Caterpillar employees. Each videotape opens with an introduction, including the features and benefits, and then provides hands-on demonstrations of the system's functions.

Each videotape is segmented so the viewer can either watch it in its entirety or can readily find a particular topic of interest. A Reference Guide, which lists the topics covered and respective segment numbers, is included with each tape.

To facilitate viewer feedback, a master critique sheet is included with each videotape. Viewers are asked to make a copy of the critique sheet, fill it out, and mail it to the address provided on the sheet.

The videotapes are available in English in VHS (NTSC), PAL, and SECAM formats. The following chart identifies the titles and media numbers for each format. Use the media numbers to order through the Caterpillar Literature Ordering System.
