Description of Change: The new aftercooler assembly contains new brackets that will be easier to assemble. The baffle assemblies were changed in the baffle group to accommodate the new bracket design.

The new 358-0289 Aftercooler Core As (1) supersedes the former 251-6148 Aftercooler Core As in the 225-4224 Air Aftercooler Gp. The new aftercooler core assembly is not a direct replacement for the former aftercooler core assembly.

The 268-4249 Strip (3) is part of the 268-4244 Baffle As (2) in the 268-4243 Radiator Baffle Gp. The strip must be removed in order to install the new 358-0289 Aftercooler Core As (1) on earlier machines.
The new 358-0289 Aftercooler Core As (1) is adaptable to machines EED1-1317, DLS1-1361, and EXD1-138.
The new 358-0289 Aftercooler Core As (1) became effective in production with the machines EED1318-UP, DLS1362-UP, and EXD139-UP.
