旋转和运动的部件会造成人身伤害。 应避开所有旋转和运动的部件。 机器移动或发动机运转时决不能试图进行部件的调整工作，除非另有规定。 机器必须停在水平地面上，且发动机停止运转。 维修、修理或调整机器前，在起动开关和控制装置上要贴上"禁止操作"或类似的警告标签。 |

机器突然动作，会导致人员伤亡。 机器突然移动，会对机上或机器近处的人员造成伤害。 为避免伤亡事故，开动机器之前，确保机器周围无人及没有各种障碍物。 |
- 把机器开到平整水平的路面。
- 将行驶操纵杆 (1) 移到 NEUTRAL（空档）位置。

- 将转速旋钮 (4) 转到 MINIMUM（最小）位置。
- 将停车制动器开关 (2) 移到 ON（接通）位置。
- 将行驶模式开关 (3) 移到 PAVE（摊铺）位置。
注: 要操作熨平板提升系统、料斗系统、斗门系统和螺旋布料器提升系统，机器必须处于 PAVE（摊铺）模式。
- 将熨平板提升开关 (5) 移到 FLOAT（浮动）位置。 使熨平板降到地面上。
注: 未激活操作台上的熨平板提升开关也必须处于 FLOAT（浮动）位置，才能降下熨平板。

- 熨平板落在地面上后，将熨平板提升开关 (5) 移到 HOLD（保持）位置。
- 将油门控制开关 (6) 移到 LOW IDLE（低怠速）位置。 将开关保持在该位置少于 1 秒。

- 将发动机起动开关 (7) 移到 OFF（断开）位置。

- 打开机器左侧的检修门 (8) 。

- 在链中点测量链 (9) 后边缘上的挠度。 记录读数，测量链中点处链前边缘上的挠度。 添加两个测量值。

- 链 (9) 挠度应小于 6.4 mm (0.25 in)。
- 如果链 (9) 挠度超出指定范围，采用以下步骤调整螺旋布料器驱动链张力。
- 松开但不要拆下三个螺栓 (10) 。

- 松开锁紧螺母 (13) 。

- 固定螺栓 (11) ，然后转动调整螺母 (12) ，直到链 (9) 挠度在指定范围内。
- 拧紧锁紧螺母 (13) 。
- 拧紧安装螺栓 (10) 。
