Removal Procedure

Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the components to cool. |

- Remove guards (1) and (2) from the turbocharger and the muffler.

- Attach a suitable lifting device to the muffler. Disconnect clamp (5) .

- Remove mounting bolts (3). The mounting bolts are located on the rear of muffler (4) .
- Remove muffler (4). The weight of muffler (4) is approximately 25 kg (55 lb).
Installation Procedure
- Install muffler (4) in the reverse order of removal.
- Apply Tooling (A) to bolts (3) .
