Removal Procedure

Note: The removal and installation of the hood actuators will be performed with the hoods in the DOWN position.

Note: Put identification marks on all lines, on all hoses, on all wires, and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, hoses, and tubes.

Cylinders equipped with lock valves can remain pressurized for very long periods of time, even with the hoses removed. Failure to relieve pressure before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder can result in personal injury or death. Ensure all pressure is relieved before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder.

1. Move the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

2. Remove bolts (2) and open access door (1) .

3. Disconnect hose assemblies (3) at tee connection (4). Disconnect harness assembly (5) .

4. Disconnect harness assembly (7). Disconnect ground strap (9). Remove bolts (8). Remove pump group (6) .

Installation Procedure

1. Install hood tilt pump and motor (6) in the reverse order of removal.
