Note: Do not damage the discs and the balls that are located on the valve assemblies, during the assembly procedures. The discs and the balls are not serviceable components.

  1. Install the O-ring seal and plug (56). Tighten plug (56) to a torque of 57 to 63 N·m (42 to 46 lb ft).

  1. Install the O-ring seal and plug (55). Tighten plug (57) to a torque of 133 to 147 N·m (98 to 108 lb ft).

  1. Use Tooling (A) in order to install relief valve (53). Tighten relief valve (53) to a torque of 10 to 15 N·m (89 to 133 lb in). Install cap (54) into relief valve (53) .

  1. Install the O-ring seal and plug (52). Tighten plug (52) to a torque of 4 to 6 N·m (35 to 53 lb in).

  1. Install spool (50) and spring (51) .

  1. Install the O-ring seal and plug (49). Tighten plug (49) to a torque of 57 to 63 N·m (42 to 46 lb ft).

  1. Install spool (48) and spring (47) .

  1. Install the O-ring seal and plug (46). Tighten plug (46) to a torque of 50 to 70 N·m (37 to 52 lb ft).

    Note: Do not slide the surface of seals in cover assembly (45) across the lands of spool (41) .

  1. Clamp the tang of spool (41) into a suitable vise in order to install rod (38). Install cover assembly (45), plate (44), retainer (43), spring (42), retainer (40), and rod (38) onto spool (41). Tighten rod (38) to a torque of 7 to 10 N·m (62 to 89 lb in).

  1. Use Tooling (B) in order to secure balls (39) into rod (38). Install balls (39) into rod (38). Apply Tooling (B) to the surface of rod (38) .

  1. Install spring sleeve (37), washer (36), and sleeve (35) .

  1. Install cover (33) and bolts (34). Tighten bolts (34) to a torque of 7 to 10 N·m (62 to 89 lb in).

  1. Install spool assembly (31) and bolts (28). Tighten bolts (28) to a torque of 7 to 10 N·m (62 to 89 lb in).

  1. Install cover assembly (30) and bolts (29). Tighten bolts (29) to a torque of 7 to 10 N·m (62 to 89 lb in).

  1. Install O-ring seals (32) .

  1. Install lift valve (43) .

  1. Install spool (26) and spring (25) .

  1. Install the O-ring seal and plug (23). Tighten plug (23) to a torque of 50 to 70 N·m (37 to 52 lb ft).

    Note: Make sure that the relief valve is seated in the bottom of the port prior to the installation of plug (24) .

  1. Install the relief valve, the O-ring seal, and plug (24). Tighten plug (24) to a torque of 35 to 45 N·m (26 to 33 lb ft). Repeat for the opposite side.

    Note: Do not slide the surface of seals in cover assembly (22) across the lands of spool (19) .

  1. Clamp the tang of spool (19) into a suitable vise in order to install spool (16). Install cover assembly (22), plate (21), retainer (20), spring (18), retainer (17), the O-ring seal, and spool (16) onto spool (19). Tighten spool (16) to a torque of 7 to 10 N·m (62 to 89 lb in). Apply Tooling (B) to spring (18) .

  1. Install the gasket, housing (15), the O-ring seal, coil (13), disc (12), spring (14), and clip (11) .

  1. Install the gasket, cover (10), and bolts (9). Tighten bolts (9) to a torque of 4 to 6 N·m (35 to 53 lb in).

  1. Install spool assembly (4) and install bolts (6). Tighten bolts (6) to a torque of 7 to 10 N·m (62 to 89 lb in).

  1. Install cover assembly (8) and bolts (5). Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 7 to 10 N·m (62 to 89 lb in).

  1. Install O-ring seals (7) .

    Note: Ensure that the spools in the valve assemblies move freely.

  1. Install tilt valve (1), bracket (2), and nuts (3). Tighten nut (3) in increments of 10 N·m (89 lb in). Tighten nuts (3) until a torque of 38 to 42 N·m (28 to 31 lb ft) is achieved.

End By: Install the bank valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Bank Valve (Loader) - Install".
