Description of Change: Shims are available for backhoe loaders. The shims will extend the life of the wear pads on the extendable stick.

287-5667 Shims will need to be added to the 217-1577 Pad Assembly (1) and to 289-9426 Pad Assembly. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, RENR6485, "414E, 416E, 420E, 422E, 428E, 430E, 432E, 434E, 442E and 444E Backhoe Loaders Machine Systems". Shims should provide a 1 mm (0.0394 inch) between the wear pads and the sliding surface of the extendable stick. You should not use more than ten shims.
