(1) 齿轮马达（液压风扇） | |
风扇由齿轮马达驱动。 油进入齿轮马达 (1) ，然后油使内齿轮旋转。 马达 (1) 中的内齿轮由轴连接到风扇上。 风扇转速取决于供应至马达 (1) 的油量。
齿轮马达 (1) 带有一个内部补偿阀。 当发动机停机时，该补偿阀允许风扇逐渐停止。 当风扇空转并且没有供油时，补偿阀将会重新引导马达内的油。 油将会从马达出口侧流至马达进口侧。 补偿阀会防止马达产生气穴。
如果齿轮马达配备壳体排放口，则来自壳体的多余的油将会直接排放回液压油箱。
