Rocker Shaft - Assemble
Assembly Procedure

Note: Ensure that all of the oil holes in the rocker shaft and in the rocker arms are not plugged before you begin the assembly procedure.
- Lubricate all of the components with clean engine oil before assembly.
- Install spring (1) .

Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury. To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment. |

- Install rocker arm assembly (2) .
- Install bracket (3) .
- Install rocker arm assembly (4) .
- Repeat Steps 2 through 5 in order to assemble the rocker shaft assembly.
- Use Tooling (A) to install retaining rings (5) .
End By: Install the rocker shaft and pushrods. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Rocker Shaft and Pushrod - Install".
