New Final Drive for the Propel System {4050, 4800, 5467}

Usage:

AP-1000B 7HN
Asphalt Paver:
AP-1000B (S/N: 7HN351-UP)
BG-260C (S/N: 8GN583-UP)

Description of Change: The new final drive has a two-speed gearshift assembly that is contained within the final drive. The brake is now separated from the two-speed assembly.

The new final drive planetary now requires a new propel electronic control module. The software has changed in the control module.

The Pressure Reducing Valve pressure has been reduced to 4482 ± 207 kPa (650 ± 30 psi) in order to reduce the auxiliary system pressure to the shift ports.

Adaptable To: The new 190-6345 Planetary is effective with the following Asphalt Pavers: AP-1000B 7HN351 and BG-260C 8GN583

The new 230-2442 Propel Electronic Control Module is effective with the following Asphalt Pavers: AP-10005B 7HN351 and BG-260C 8GN583

The 116-6863 Pressure Reducing Valve pressure setting is effective with the following Asphalt Pavers: AP-1000B 7HN351 and BG-260C 8GN583

Note: The final drives will require 8T-9576 Oil (TDTO 50W) that comes in a 19 L (5 US gal) container. The 8T-9577 Oil (TDTO 50W) comes in a 208 L (55 US gal) container. The recommended oil change interval for the final drive is 50 hours for the first oil change. The oil should be changed after every 500 hours after the first oil change.
