Start By:
- Remove the camshaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Camshaft - Remove and Install".

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Use Tooling (A) to remove the camshaft bearing from the cylinder block.

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Ensure that the bore in the cylinder block for the camshaft bearing is clean and free of debris.
- Use Tooling (A) to install the camshaft bearing in the cylinder block.
Note: Align the oil holes in the camshaft bearing and the cylinder block. The camshaft bearing should be installed to a depth that is flush with the face of the recess in the cylinder block.
