Service Magazine SEPD0999, 6th July 2009, "Water Temperature Regulators (Thermostats) Have Been Redesigned". The original article has been revised due to the heavy-duty thermostats that have been redesigned. Refer to the information below.

The new regulators (thermostats) have the same part numbers as the previous regulators, but the new regulators have a new change level. The new regulators are interchangeable with the previous regulators. Refer to Table 1 for the affected part numbers.

Note: Before using the new regulators, exhaust the old regulators. In engines with multiple regulators, use regulators of the same design.
