Transmission to Torque Converter - Connect
Connection Procedure

Note: Check the condition of all O-ring seals and of all parts. If any components are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.
- Install O-ring seal (14) on transmission (9). Apply clean oil on O-ring seal (14) .

- Install output shaft (13) in torque converter (10) .

- Install O-ring seal (15) on torque converter (10). Apply clean oil on O-ring seal (15) .
- Use a hoist and suitable lifting straps to carefully install transmission (9) to torque converter (10). The weight of the transmission is 635 kg (1400 lb). Use output shaft (13) to align transmission (9) with torque converter (10) .

- Install two brackets (12), eleven bolts (11) and the washers to transmission (9) .

- Remove Tooling (A) from transmission (9) .

- Install manifold (8) .

- Install five bolts (7) and the washers in manifold (8) .
- Install hose assembly (6) on tube assembly (5). Install four bolts (4) and the washers.

- Install bolt (3), the clamps, the nut and the washers.
- Install two hoses (2). Install bolt (1) and the washers.
End By: Connect the output transfer gears to the transmission planetary group. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Output Transfer Gears to Transmission, Torque Converter - Connect" for the machine that is being serviced.
