End play (clearance) of the idler shaft:

Minimum ... 0.25 mm (.010 inch)
Maximum ... 1.25 mm (.033 inch)

(1) Clearance across the diameter between the shaft and new bearings ... .41 ± .11 mm (0.016 ± 0.004 inch)

(2) Idler Tread

Diameter of the idler tread (new idler) ... 545 ± 1.5 mm (21.457 ± 0.0591 inch)
Diameter of 100 percent worn idler tread ... 522 mm (20.551 inch)

(3) Torque for bolts that hold the track idler to the track roller frame ... 530 ± 70 N·m (390 ± 50 lb ft)

(4) Bearing depth from the end of the idler ... 20.0 ± 0.5 mm (.79 inch)

(5) Torque for bolts ... 55 ± 10 N·m (40 ± 7 lb ft)

(6) The plug must not be recessed below the surface of the stopper.

Note: Rubber toric seals must be clean and dry at assembly. All surfaces that contact the toric seals must be clean and dry at assembly. At assembly, apply a thin film of oil to the contacting surfaces of the metal seal. Seal rings must be assembled squarely with the bore. The toric ring must not bulge and the toric ring must not be twisted.
