Removal Procedure

1. Loosen dust ejector hose clamp (2) and remove dust ejector hose (1) from the body of the precleaner.

2. Remove bolt (4), the washers, washer (5) and rubber mounting (3) .

3. Remove bolts (6), the washers and shield (7) from the muffler.

4. Loosen nut (8) and clamp (10). Remove ejector assembly (9), the rain cap assembly and clamp (10) .

5. Loosen dust ejector hose clamp (11) and remove dust ejector hose (1) .

6. Remove bolts (13), the washers and adapter (12) from the muffler, if necessary.

7. Remove two bolts (15), the two washers, plate (14), slide (17) and plate (16) on each side of hood (18) .

8. Use a suitable lifting device, Tooling (A) and chains to remove the hood. Loosen hose clamp (19). Remove the hood, the precleaner assembly and the body of the precleaner from hose (20). The weight of the hood, the precleaner assembly and the body of the precleaner is 80 kg (175 lb).

1. Fasten a suitable lifting device and chains to Tooling (A). Install the hood, the body of the precleaner and the precleaner assembly on hose (20).

2. Tighten hose clamp (19). The weight of the hood and the dust ejector is 80 kg (175 lb).

3. Install plate (16), slide (17), plate (14), the two washers and two bolts (15) on each side of hood (18) .

4. Install adapter (12) with bolts (13) and the washers on the muffler, if necessary.

5. Install dust ejector hose (1) and tighten dust ejector hose clamp (11) .

6. Install ejector assembly (9), the rain cap assembly and clamp (10). Tighten nut (8) on the clamp.

7. Install shield (7) on the muffler with bolts (6) and the washers.

8. Install rubber mounting (3), washer (5), the washer and bolt (4) .

9. Install dust ejector hose (1) with dust ejector hose clamp (2) on the body of the precleaner.
