Hood Latch Control

The control (handle) for the hood latch is located under the dash panel. Pull the handle in order to release the hood latch.

Use handle (1) to fully raise the hood. The hood will lock in the fully raised position.
Pull handle (2) in order to release the hood. Use handle (1) to fully lower the hood as you pull handle (2). You should release handle (2) once the hood starts to lower. The hood latch will engage when the hood is closed. Make sure that the hood is fully closed and secure.
