Activating The Transmission Neutralizer Function

Usage:

TELEHANDLERTH62 (3LN, 4TM) TH63 (3NN, 5WM) TH823JN, 3KN) TH83 (3RN) TH103 (3PN) TELEHANDLERS

THIS TIB REPLACES THE JULY 9, 1997 TELEHANDLER TIB, COMPONENT CODE: 5050, ACTIVATING THE TRANSMISSION NEUTRALIZER FUNCTION. DESTROY THE JULY 9, 1997 TIB. IT WILL NOT APPEAR IN THE QUARTERLY INDEX.

Problem:

There have been reports of high brake pedal effort required to activate the transmission neutralizer function with the brake pedal.

Solution:

The 123-2844 Pressure Switch controls the activation of the transmission neutralizer function. The 123-2844 Pressure Switch is located behind Trim-Control Panel (A) in Illustration 1, and below the Joystick-Control (B) in Illustration 1. The 123-2844 Pressure Switch is part of the Cab Hydraulic Group.

The 123-2844 Pressure Switch is adjustable. To adjust the switch:

1. Locate the adjusting screw between the two terminals.
2. Turn the screw in fully clockwise.
3. Turn the screw out counter clockwise three full turns.
