Problem:
The 8X-1106 Fitting and 2N-1287 Elbow may have been over tightened on some 5T-5045 Automatic Lubrication Injectors. This causes the fitting to interfere with the injector spring and prevents the injector from pumping lubricant. The 5T-5045 Automatic Lubrication Injector is used in the following automatic lubrication groups:
Solution:
Remove the 8X-1106 Fitting (1) and 2N-1287 Elbow and reinstall with pipe sealant making sure that the fittings do not interfere with the spring (2) or piston.
This problem has been corrected in current production.
