Problem:
Many attachment suppliers require that oil flow be limited to their attachments. When using the auxiliary hydraulic control valve to operate an attachment, the flow can be regulated with internal valve modifications.
Solution:
Flow through the auxiliary valve can be increased or decreased by removing or adding one or more 6E-0131 Shims between the retainers of the control valve centering spring. (Refer to the following chart and illustration for this procedure). This is accomplished as follows:
Rework Procedure:
Remove the two bolts (1) and the cover of the shifting spool (2) on the E-stick valve group or the 6E-1930 Auxiliary Valve. Remove the two bolts (9) and the retainer (10). Remove the dust guard (11) and the filter ring (12). Remove the control spool from the valve.
Remove the screw (3) compressing the centering spring (6), the retainer (4) and the retainer (7).
Remove the retainer (4) and the retainer (7) and the centering spring (6).
Add or remove spacer (5) from between the retainer (4) and the retainer (7) to increase or decrease the distance between them when the spool (8) is at either end or the stroke.
Reassemble valve spool and components to valve body.
