PROBLEM
The existing Rear Axle Housing can crack on certain 785C Off Highway Trucks. If the existing housing fails it can leak, resulting in unwanted downtime. This program covers only machines that have experienced more than one documented instance of cracking after reinforcements have been installed as per the latest revision of REHS2346 (properly feathered and ground welds). To qualify, the cracks must be in the base casting material, not in the welds. |
