PROBLEM
Certain 12M 3 and 140M 3 Motor Graders equipped with the Next-Gen (canister style) filters did not have the water-in-fuel sensor properly configured at the factory. The operator/maintainer will not be alerted when the fuel water separator requires service resulting in potential damage to fuel system components over extended periods of time. |
