ACTION REQUIRED
A new Special Instruction needs to be ordered and sent to the customer to be installed in the machine. Instructions: 1. Order a new M0095238, Special Instruction, "Quick Coupler Operation on Material Handlers and Wheeled Excavators", from the Caterpillar Media Ordering System in your required language. Your parts department should be able to do this for you. 2. Mail the new Special Instruction to the customer, with tracking information, with instructions to place the new Special Instruction in the machine, and to discard the old quick coupler operation OMM. Please make every effort to deal with this issue by registered mail. 3. Claim as per the allowance section. 4. When entering the PIP completion in SIMSi, type the tracking information in the comment field.
