This Program must be administered either before or after failure.
In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS45242" as the Part Number
and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code.
If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The existing 425-4563, 244-3114, or 258-8987 Valve Group (whichever is installed) for transmission clutches 1 and 2 can fail on certain 797, 797B, 797F and 797F XQ Off-Highway Trucks. If the existing modulating valve fails, it can result in erratic pressures for clutch 1 and clutch 2, causing premature failure of these clutches.
In order to allow equitable parts availability to all participating dealers, please limit your initial parts order to not exceed 23% of dealership population. This is an initial order recommendation only, and the ultimate responsibility for ordering the total number of parts needed to satisfy the program lies with the dealer.

This program is to be applied to replace the existing Clutch 1 and clutch 2 modulation valves (425-4563, 244-3114 or 258-8987) that have been in operation for 6,000 hours.
The valve needs to be changed every 6000 hours for the machines listed, which means there can be multiple claims against the same machine.
Refer to the Service Manual as required to replace the modulating valves.
Note: After replacing the clutch 1 and 2 modulating valves, the transmission must be re-calibrated (Pressure and Fill calibrations). If calibration procedure fails, component replacement may be required.
