Usage:
5N7900 Lubricator is used to put diesel fuel, for lubrication, into the air starting motor on the above engines. The lubricator must be connected to the fuel return line to the tank at a location above the elevation of the air starting motor. Pressure of the fuel supply to the lubricator must not be more than 100 kPa (15 psi). If more pressure is used, internal parts of the lubricator can be damaged. The fuel supply line from the fuel return line to the lubricator must be made; use fittings and hoses as necessary.
NOTE: Use pipe thread sealer on all pipe thread connections during the installation procedure.
1. Disconnect the fuel return line from elbow (1) and remove the elbow from the engine. Install tee (2) where elbow (1) was removed. Connect the fuel return line to tee (2). Install 5N7900 Lubricator (3) in the air inlet port of starting motor (4). Install connector (5), with 1/8" - 27 pipe threads, in lubricator (3). Make a hose or tube to connect connector (5) to tee (2). Connect the hose to connector (5). Fill the hose with clean fuel, and then connect the other end of the hose to tee (3).
