Usage:
A new 5T2592 Wiring Harness and extra parts are now given for service replacement of former 9D8387 Wiring Harness.
The 5T2592 Wiring Harness is equipped with a sure seal connector and wires for connection to a reverse shift inhibit control and two pressure switches. When installing a 5T2592 Wiring Harness on trucks not equipped with a reverse shift inhibit, it is necessary to install a 5T3107 Wire Assembly with a 3T3046 Clip into the reverse shift inhibit connector on the 5T2592 Wiring Harness. This will help keep dirt and foreign material out of the connectors when not in use. Put tape over the reverse shift inhibit wire and pressure switch wires to fasten them to the 5T2592 Wiring Harness. NOTE: If the terminal on the back-up alarm wire of 5T2592 Wiring Harness will not connect to the back-up alarm, remove the existing terminal and install a 2L8076 Terminal.
