Description of Change: New 90° muffler elbows are available for certain off-highway trucks. The new elbows direct the exhaust from the mufflers in a more horizontal direction. This reduces the creation of dust that may have occurred when the exhaust was directed towards the ground.
The 163-5127 (change level 2) Tube Assembly is a direct replacement for the 163-5127 (change level 1) Tube Assembly on the 769D Off-Highway Trucks and 771D Quarry Truck.
The 162-8451 (change level 2) Tube Assembly is a direct replacement for the 162-8451 (change level 1) Tube Assembly on the 773D Quarry Truck and the 775D Off-Highway Truck.
Effective With: The new 163-5127 Tube Assembly is effective with 769D (5SS177-Up) and 771D (6YS122-Up) and adaptable to earlier models.
The new 162-8451 Tube Assembly is effective with 773D (7SC149-Up) and 775D (8AS145-Up) and adaptable to earlier models.
