Description of Change: A new turn signal switch is available for off-highway trucks. The new switch offers improved resistance to burnt electrical contacts. Also the retention of the handle to the switch has been improved.
The new 173-3064 Switch is a direct replacement for the former 9G-5589 Switch and available through normal parts ordering channels.
Effective with: The new 173-3064 Switch is effective with 776D (5ER123) Tractors, and 777D (3PR1001), and 777D HAA (2YW106) Off-Highway Trucks.
Adaptable To: The new switch is adaptable to 769D (5TR1-Up), 773D (7ER1-Up), 777D (3PR1-1000), 777D HAA (2YW1-105), 785B (6HK1-Up), 789B (7EK1-Up), and 793C (4AR1-Up) Off-Highway Trucks; and 771D (6JR1-Up), and 775D (6KR1-Up) Quarry Trucks; and 776D (5ER1-122), and 784B (5RK1-Up) Tractors.
