CS-323C (1EN1-128) Vibratory Compactors

Illustration 1.
Side View Of Drum (A) 119-4321 Drive Plate. (B) Drum drive stop plates. (C) Isolation mount bolts.

In some applications, 119-4321 Drive Plate (A) can contact drum drive stop plates (B) with enough force to cause wear on the drive plate.

When repairing a drum assembly, inspect 119-4321 Drive Plate (A). Replace the drive plate if there are any cracks at the holes for isolation mount bolts (C). Also replace the drive plate if it is worn to the bolt heads of isolation mount bolts (C).

To avoid future wear to the drum drive plate, remove 25.4 mm (1.00 in) of material from each end of drum drive stop plates (B).

NOTE: Drum drive stop plates (B) may also be completely removed to prevent further wear to drive plate (A).
